Simple and quick hook-and-loop fastening system

Thanks to its simple and sturdy hook-and-loop fastening system, the Marsupi Baby Carrier can be put on particularly quickly. No knots, complicated buckles or special wrapping techniques are required.

This also makes the Marsupi an interesting choice for parents who do not want to tie a baby wrap or who are looking for a quick and uncomplicated baby carrier for everyday use and travel.

Marsupi newborn strap for newborn babies

While your baby is still very small, the seat width of the Marsupi can be reduced using the designated Marsupi newborn strap. The strap is placed around the seat area and adjusted to the required width using the hook-and-loop fastening.

This allows the standard 25.5 cm seat width to be reduced to 21.5 cm for newborns. Always make sure your baby is positioned correctly and follow the current manufacturer's instructions regarding weight, size and correct use.

Close-to-body support in the Marsupi

In the Marsupi Baby Carrier, your baby is carried directly and close to your body. The supportive fabric panel runs across your baby's back, while the permanently attached wide shoulder straps bring your baby close to you.

The hook-and-loop fastening areas for the shoulder straps extend across a large part of the back panel. This allows the shoulder straps to be positioned individually and tightened when necessary.

If the Marsupi does not fit quite right after you first put it on, the shoulder straps can be released individually, readjusted and secured again. Always support your baby securely while making adjustments.

Integrated head support

The integrated head support of the Marsupi Baby Carrier can be secured to the shoulder straps using press studs and can support your baby's head and neck area when required.

When the head support is not needed, it can be folded outwards to create a soft finish around the neck area. When carrying newborns or sleeping babies, always make sure that your baby's face remains visible and that the airways are unobstructed.

Comfortable weight distribution

Your baby's weight is distributed across the separate waist belt and the wide shoulder straps. The shoulder straps are crossed over your back and lie flat against the body.

How comfortable the Marsupi Baby Carrier feels for you depends on factors including your body shape, the selected size, correct adjustment and your baby's weight.

Marsupi as a front and hip carrier

The Marsupi can be used not only as a front baby carrier but also as a hip carrier. Depending on your baby's developmental stage and the manufacturer's instructions, this provides different carrying options.

Carrying positions

  • Front carry: for close-to-body carrying in front of your upper body
  • Hip carry: for carrying your baby at your side
  • Back carry: only with the assistance of a second person when putting on and taking off the carrier, as the hook-and-loop fasteners cannot be closed independently on your back

Marsupi Baby Carrier – compact and uncomplicated

The Marsupi Baby Carrier focuses on straightforward handling: hook-and-loop fasteners instead of complicated buckles or knots, wide shoulder straps, an adjustable seat area and an integrated head support.

You can also choose between two different materials: the more substantial Marsupi Classic made from 100% organic cotton and the lighter Marsupi Breeze made from 60% cotton and 40% linen.

Which Marsupi size is right for me?

If you are between two sizes, consider your waist measurement as well as your height and clothing size. The most important factor is that the Marsupi can be fitted and adjusted securely and comfortably.

Secure hook-and-loop fastening

For a secure hold, the hook-and-loop fasteners of the Marsupi should overlap by at least 12 cm across the fastening area (see image, marking 1). Before carrying your baby, always make sure that the hook-and-loop fastening areas are correctly positioned and securely attached.
